What Love Looks Like movie follows five couples who find the way to that one special person and overcome many challenges to get there.
Nicole and Owen are in a steady relationship that appears perfectly normal from the outside. But Owen is taking Nicole for granted even before they are married and Nicole must find the strength to get out of this toxic relationship.
Then we have Sam who cannot let go of his past and his memories of the love of his life are holding him back from opening up his heart again.
Vanessa is marching toward her 30s and seems resigned that she is not going to find true love ever, in spite of her dedicated efforts.
As we go through these different stories, our subjects make a steady progress toward their elusive dreams and teach us that love and successful relationship always takes work.

The movie is a perfect watch for your Valentine’s Day time together. From awkwardness of the young to the cynicism of the jaded middle ages, the stories bring out the different shades of the yearning for true love.
The movie first seems to be a bit choppy as we move from one story to the next at very short intervals. However, once you get used to the pace and the stories develop a bit more, the shifts feel seamless.
The cast doesn’t leave anything wanting and their acting is effortless. Although all the stories are interesting, it is one with Owen and Nicole that will get you hooked the most as you root fro Nicole.
