In a new trend on Indian Television drams, audiences are getting to see remakes or popular movies into Hindi serials these days. The new Tu Aashiqui serial on Colors TV sees to be the newest addition to this list. The new drams is said to be a TV version of Aashiqui and Aashiqui 2 and tells a story of a young couple in love. The Musical Romance combines two most loved genre’s on Indian television and the release seems to have been timed well with first-time college students starting their new terms.

Written and produced by nine other than Mahesh Bhatt, the teenage love story promises to take the audiences on an emotional roller-coaster. The new serial re-launches child actor Jannat Zubair Rahmani (Phulwa) as teenages and the lead in the new Hindi serial. Playing the other lead will be Ritik. The serial also marks the return of Gauri Pradhan who last appeared in a Colros TV almost two years back.

Tu Aashiqui Serial Story
Tu Aashiqui serial revolves around Pankti Sharma (Jannat) and Ahaan Dhanrajgir (Ritik). Pankti is from a conservative middle-class family who loves music and writes songs. Studying in the same college is Ahaan, who is a musician. They soon bum into each other and their love for music brings them closer. However, Pankti’s family is not too happy with this developing relationship as it has the potential to interfere with her career.
Can the two overcome this resistance and plan to break them apart and be together? We will have to wait and watch when the new serial releases later this year.
