Tournament of the Champions on Food Network is the new bracket style culinary competition hosted by Guy Fieri. The series has created a lot of enthusiasm among its fans on social and they will also be able to vote for their favorite chefs throughout the competition.
Tournament of Champions TV Show Format
‘Tournament of Champions’ series will feature 16 talented chefs going head-to-head as Guy puts their cooking skills to the test in a series of challenges.
Using different ingredients and special cooking tools and equipment the contestants will be racing against the clock. To make things more exciting, a randomizer machine determines the protein, produce, equipment, cooking style, and time for each of the cook-offs.
The difficulty of the challenges increases with each round of the tournament, while the coveted spots decrease to eight in the second round, then to four, until there are only two chefs in the final round.
Fans will also have the chance to influence the bracket lineups once the final competitors are announced by voting on social for which chef they think should be ranked number one.
The pressure is on and emotions are high throughout this unpredictable tournament, as the elite chefs enter this blind competition not knowing who their opponents will be, or what cooking challenges they will face.
