Based on the novel by Dan Simmons, the horror-drama premieres on AMC this March with a two hour premiere. The series developed by David Kajganich will air ten one-hour episodes in the first season. Inspired by a true story, The Terror TV Show follows the Royal Navy’s perilous voyage into uncharted territory as the crew attempts to discover the Northwest Passage.

The Terror TV Show Review
The Terror TV show begins with an engaging first couple of episodes. With an ambitions third in command and a cautious second, the series pulls the audience in and makes them take sides early on in the series.
Mysterious deaths, sightings and dark omens all make an appearance in the first two hours. With a strong cast and good performances, Terror promises to be an adventure-thriller that all naval story and historical show fans will love.

Episode 1 and 2
An accident at sea cripples a Royal Navy expedition 200 miles from finding the Northwest Passage, forcing its captains to make a dire choice, and “Gore” in which scouting parties are sent out in search of open water after a long winter trapped in the ice, leading one of the teams to a frightening discovery.
Episode 3
With something now stalking the ships, the captains debate their options, testing their loyalty to one another against their duty to their crews.
Episode 4
A cunning attack on the ships proves the men are not battling an ordinary bear and that the region’s Inuit culture may hold a key to their survival.
Episode 5
A strange illness begins to show itself while another more familiar one jeopardizes the expedition’s most valuable resource – its captain’s judgment.

With the end of their provisions in sight, officers contemplate an 800-mile walkout while planning a party to raise the men’s worsening spirits.
