The Song to My Heart follows Bonnie as she rediscovers her love for music and music helps her discover love.
Bonnie has had a difficult childhood. Traveling with her songwriter-singer dad and always being on the road didn’t give her a normal childhood. Now an organic teashop owner, Bonnis doesn’t want to do anything with music or songs. She partly blames her father and childhood circumstances for taking the music out of her adult life.
But life is unpredictable and when she butts heads with the latest music sensation, Ryder, things take a U-turn. Ryder has hit a bit of a lull patch and is struggling on his new solo album. Bonnie helps him write the lyrics for a new song and the two find common ground in music.
Their time together makes Bonnie realize that she does not really hate music. And her current experience might just make her realize that music has a way to invite love in her otherwise lonely existence.
