The Sinner Season 3

It is not often that we get to see a thriller that look into the why of a crime. While it is the investigator’s job to find the who, the why should be the bigger concern for the society. USA Network looks at this with its new The Sinner TV series releasing in August 2017. The Sinner TV show is based on the book by Petra Hammesfahr published in 2008. The book has since then been translated in multiple languages and been on the bestseller list for a long time.

The Sinner TV Series Plot

The Sinner TV series plot revolves around its lead character Cora Tannetti (Jessica Beil) a mother of a young child and an otherwise non-violent person. The series begins with Cora committing a gruesome murder in broad daylight in front of multiple witnesses. On investigation it is revealed that the murdered man has no connection with Cora, who readily accepts killing him and presents not attempt to resist the charges.

However, this doesn’t sit well with the main investigator (Bill Pullman) who is confused by why Cora took such an extreme step and more importantly why she did what she did. The psychological thriller then takes the audiences on a journey of discovering the reasons behind the horrific crime.

“The Sinner Season 3” follows Detective Harry Ambrose as he begins a routine investigation of a tragic car accident on the outskirts of Dorchester, in upstate New York.

Ambrose uncovers a hidden crime that pulls him into the most dangerous and disturbing case of his career. “
