They say friendships that you make as a kid are one of the strongest and stay with you for life. But with all those good memories and strong bonds, there are also some resentments buried deep that are waiting to come out at slightest encouragement. The Ritual movie on Netflix follows four friends who travel together to bond and reminisce and are confronted with supernatural forces in the woods.

The Ritual Movie Plot
The Ritual movie plot revolves around four friends. When one of the close friends on their group dies a violent death, the remaining for friends decide to reconnect and relive those old memories. They decide to go on a hiking trip in the Swedish forest to bond and remember their lost mate.
However, the dense forest isn’t that easy to navigate and as darkness falls, the four realize that they have lost their way. Trying to get back to civilization, the four find an abandoned shack and decide to spend the nigh their.
However, the place is full of assortment of weird apparatus that indicates some kind of a ritual. Asleep in the night, they dream of horrible nightmares. With these feelings their distrust of each other surfaces and they begin to turn on each other.
As they try to escape the shack and the woods, they feels a presence around them. A presence that wants them to come out with the truth and express their true feelings. Intent to not let them leave . . .
