The series follows Helene and Anya as the two struggle to find out a way out when Anya faces arrest as the primary suspect in a homicide.
Hélène Berg’s bourgeois life in Berlin changes following a terrible call from Anya, her daughter. Anya has left to study in Paris, where she faces accusation of murder.
Convinced of her innocence, Hélène does her utmost to save her daughter. Faced with a situation much more complex than expected, Hélène conducts her own investigation with the help of Vincent, a French lawyer and her childhood sweetheart who that she’s been disconnected of the last twenty years.
Gradually, their investigations bring to light compromising elements against Anya. With the discoveries, doubt insinuates: what if her daughter was not innocent?
