The Mummy 2017 Plot
Nick Morton (Tom Cruise) is an opportunist who plunders sites of conflict for artifacts and sells them to highest bidders. On such a quest Nick is attacked by insurgents stumbles into a tomb of Egyptian Pharoah – Ahmanet (Sofia Boutella). Nick enlists help of Jenny, an Egyptologist Jenny (Annabelle Wallis) who suspects Ahamanet is the female pharoah erased from history.
Entombed by her father, Ahmanet was raised to be a warrior. Now that Nick and the team has managed to free her, she is on a quest to dominate the world. They also develop a bond that makes us wonder whether Nick will stand for the good or succumb to the evil.
The Mummy 2017 also introduces Dr. Henry Jekyl as the custodian of the Prodigium – an organization responsible to contain evil and monsters and opens up a door for new monster movies.
