The Killer in My Backyard follows Allison and Eric as their joy of finding the perfect home turns into a nightmare on arrival of a twisted man.
Allison and Eric have been dreaming about the perfect house that they would call their home. When the realtor shows them a house that is well designed and ready, they are delighted. Moreover, the house is ready to move in and start their wedded life as soo as possible.
They move into the house with dreams every new couple has. But with that dream house also come unplanned expenses. To offset some budgetary overspending, the two decide to rent out the guest house on the property. Luck smiles on them when Joshua walks in ready to pay the hefty rent of the well furnished guest house.
But soon, his behavior tends to become worrisome. Allison spots him spying on her and Eric feels the unease too. But then their suspicions become a real threat when Josh begins to meddle in their married life. As Eric tries to throw him out of the guest house, Joshua manages to turn the tables on them.
With Josh threatening their blissful life, the two have nowhere to go and the house begins to look like a trap. Why is Joshua bent on harming them even when they have never met hi before?
