What is The Drowning About?

The Drowning follows Jodie, a mother of a boy missing for eight years, that she believes she has found.

However, this new realization threatens to collapse the life she’s painstakingly rebuilt, as it leads her down a dangerous and morally dubious path.

Daniel’s father is impassive, but protective and denies Daniels has any connection to Jodie. Her strained relationship with her mother means that the only one giving her a sympathetic ear is her brother Jason.

However, Jason too is on the cusp of getting a big promotion at his law firm and Jodie’s fixation can put him in a difficult situation. Can Jodie put her life back in order and move on or is there truth to her accusations?
