The Christmas Promise follows Nicole as she deals with a devastating loss and tries to rebuild her life through the pain during the holidays.
Nicole and her finace had dreamed of a happy and beautiful life together. But that was not to be. Her fiance suddenly passed on and Nicole was left alone. Grappling with the loss, she is no longer think of the house they were building together and decides to sell it.
Joe, a carpenter, joins her to help her finish the house and assist her in selling it off. He also has a sympathetic ear and helps her with anecdotes to get on with her life.
Meanwhile. Nicole is also exchanging text messages with someone who now has her fiance’s number. The stranger too helps Nicole cope with the sorrow as he asks her to take life one day at a time and try to find happiness again.
