The Christmas Ball movie on Lifetime Channel comes with another holiday romance original and this one takes you to England. Not only that, the movie also brings a grand regency era style ball for you to swoon with the protagonists. But can all this be enough to find love?
What is the Lifetime Movie About?
The Christmas Ball follows Clare as she travels to England to her aunt only to find that the Manor house she is fond of is in jeopardy.
Clare is a ballerina and enjoys the role of being the lead in the annual Nutcracker production. However, this year she is dumped for another. The last minute change is devastating for Clare. So when she sees an opportunity to go visit her aunt in England, Clare hops on the next plane to spend holidays with her aunt.
The change of scene is welcoming. There she finds out that her aunt is in a bit of a trouble and trying hard to save the manor. Liam, a local professor and historian is helping her aunt but the chances of saving the manor are slim.
As she spends time with Liam and assists him, Clare realizes that Regency Balls were a thing at the manor at one time. With Liam as her guide, they decide to recreate the era and splendor as part of the presentation to the preservation society and make a last ditch attempt to save the manor.
As Clare and Liam work together, the two also waltz into a new romance.
