The Chestnut Man series on Netflix brings a chilling psychological thriller set in a Dutch city. A psychopath is terrorizing the people of the city with brutal murders and leaving his calling card. Twisted minds see the world through a twisted glass and often people who have nothing to do with the killer or the injustice heaped on them end up being the collateral damage.
What is The Chestnut Man Netflix Series About?
The Chestnut Man is a psychological thriller based on a book and follows two detectives as they struggle to catch up with a serial killer.
Set in the suburb of Copenhagen, the series begins with a discovery of a woman’s body on a quiet October morning. The body is brutally mutilated and left in the playground with one of the limbs missing. The investigators also find a curious calling card net to the body. A small man made of chestnuts.
The police have assigned Naia Thulin on the case with Mark Hess. The two can hardly se eye to eye on any matter, but must now set aside their differences to focus on the murder. Something tells them this will not be the only body they will see in the coming days.
