Teri Meri Ek Jindari serial follows two opposing personalities in Mahi and Jogi as the find love in their differences.
Mahi, a middle class Punjabi girl, is adept at every household chore and is trained by her mother to be the perfect housewife. But she believes she has much more to offer. Her philosophy is that our passions can be converted into businesses and girls can be much more than just a responsibility. Mahi lover to drive and following her own mantra starts cab service exclusive for women who feel safe with female drivers.
On the other hand, Jogi is grounded and content with life as it is. He understands that true happiness in life comes from little things and people around you. Money is just a means to an end and does not believe in the rat race. A diploma holder in Agriculture, Jogi runs a buffalo stable and is happy.
