Sweetie Weds NRI Music Review
The album has a mix of party and romantic number and takes forward the current Bollywood tradition of reviving old songs. But you should perhaps refrain from reviving good dance numbers that aren’t really that old. And when you end up adding only a couple of Rap lines, you end up ruining a perfect song, And that is what Jaidev Kumar does with the late 90’s pop hit Kudi Gujrat Ki. However, Wedding composed by Palash Muchhal is a good original score and can make it to some wedding playlists this year.
However, there are still a lot of good tracks in the album and you can gloss over the remix disaster. Musafir is a typical Atif Aslam style composition and his fans will love this new song. Intense and high-pitched, you will want to replay this song for sure. The song also comes in other two versions, Reprise and Remix. You can avoid the Remix version
O Saathiya by Arko starts on a melodious note and hooks you on. It also reminds you slightly of Asmaan Ke Paar Shayad from the 90s composed by Shanakr-Ehsaan-Loy. Shiddat by Armaan Malik lies somewhere is a Bollywood Rock track and give some good strings for Indian Rock fans. Although there is nothing wrong with the song, it won’t make you come back to the track. Zindagi Bana Loon is another melodius track with a laid back rhythm and you will love to put it on your next drive through the hills and woods on a rainy day.
