Sweet Revenge follows Hannah and detective Mike as she gets embroiled in another murder that strikes too close to home.
Hannah Swensen and Detective Mike are neck deep in the tasks as the impending wedding comes close and they continue to fight over trivial things. But when body is discovered in Hannah’s 24-hr gym they are immediately pulled into the chaos.
What is more bothering is the body is surrounded with baked goods from Hannah. Was someone trying to implicate Hannah in the murder? Or is this a subtle message for Hannah that she could be next?
However, there is even a more pressing matter that has Hannah’s attention divided. Delores, Hannah’s mother, is busy prepping for the gala for her new Regency-themed romance book. Hannah as agreed to provide a new cream puff at the gala, but she is completely clueless about how to come up with a new recipe.
