Sultan is set to release in a month around Eid this year. Like his movies last year, I am sure this one will do great too. Sultan soundtrack packs nine music tracks. It kind of gives you an idea that the movie will be a family entertainer. Wrestling as the backdrop gives a fresh feel to the old story at the core. Only this one will appeal much more to moviegoers than Saala Khadoos released earlier this year.
Sultan Music Review
Sultan’s soundtrack fits right into the topic and the movie, but I am not sure that the songs would do good out of the movie. Although melodious, the composition does not have anything fresh or new for the listeners.
Baby ko Bass is catchy and the heavy beats give the song the potential to make it to the party music charts of the year. Neha Bhasin’s version of Jag Ghoomeya is a good choice for your easy listening playlist. Sachi Muchi is the pick of the lot, which is both catchy and melodious.

Baby ko Bass Pasand Hai
Like the the title says, the song is heavy on beats. Once again there are
hints of Rap in the track. A foot tapping, fast-paced track but nothing exciting about the composition.
Singers: Vishal Dadlani, Shalmali Kholgade, Ishita Badshah
Jag Ghoomeya
A folksy, groovy composition with typical Rahat Fateh Ali Khan singing style. His fans will love this simple leisurely paced song.
Singers: Rahat Fateh Ali Khan
440 Volt
Again a very simple and common beat drives the song and gives it a folksy touch.
Singers: Mika Singh
Sultan
This one can fit into the Rock genre. With the mix of electric guitar, non-indian drum sounds and sequences, and synthesizer the song is completely different from the rest of the songs in the album.
Singers: Sukhvinder Singh, Shadab Faridi
Sachi Muchi
Another foot tapping song which is both melodious and catchy. With use of not so common mandolin and mouth organ the song has different feel. Contemporary and old at the same time, the song is perfect to lift up your sullen mood.
Singers: Mohit Chauhan, Harshdeep Kaur
Bulleya
Bulleya is a Sufi kind of song, but the composers stay away from the traditional-only instruments and the song has a mix of contemporary and traditional musical elements. Not sure that it will get attention from the people other than in the theaters.
Singers: Papon
Tuk Tuk
And Rap comes back with a mix of short rhythm pieces that almost feel unconnected. Not a track that you would listen to, but good enough to run in the background.
Singers: Nooran Sisters, Vishal Dadlani
Jag Ghoomeya
Neha Bhasin sings the female version of Jag Ghoomeya. This one is slightly slow paced than the Rahat Fateh Ali khan version and sounds better. The vocals are the focus here and Bhasin sings it without a problem.
Singers: Neha Bhasin
Rise of Sultan
With a military style drum roll mixed with local drum rythms, the song is a good background track, but not something you will listen to at a party or long drives.
Singers: Shekhar Ravjiani
