But we also love heroes who go against all the rules to catch dreaded criminals and save the innocent victims of vicious criminals. Stumptown ABC Series Plot
Stumptown TV Show follows Dex Parios, a PI in Portland Oregon as she goes around solving cases. She is a fairly talented detective, but is also self destructive with her bad habits getting more attention than her detective kills.
A strong, assertive and sharp-witted army veteran with a complicated love life, and gambling debt, Dex also has a brother to take care of in Portland, Oregon.
Her military intelligence skills make her a great PI, but her unapologetic style puts her in the firing line of hardcore criminals and not quite in alliance with the police.

Stumptown Series Review
Stumptown is a action packed new series about a woman vet who is trying to deal with PTSD and is drawn into investigating for people who do not prefer to go to the police. The episodes move at a brisk pace and keep you engaged. With a somewhat bumbling style, it lacks the discipline or order that you would usually see in a protagonist returning from the services. But this also gives it a kind if fun flavor.
We wouldn’t say that the series is a must watch, but it is good enough to give you a little boost midweek with all the action that’s going on the screen.

Dex is hired by a wealthy man to search for a woman whom he recently met, but she quickly learns that the task is not as simple as it seems. Meanwhile, Dex and Grey’s history unfolds.
Episode 4
In hopes of becoming a certified private investigator, Dex seeks mentorship from veteran PI Artie Banks. Meanwhile, Hoffman grows suspicious of Grey after evidence proves that he has a connection to a victim in his case.

Dex goes undercover after she is hired by a local politician to dig up dirt on his political opponent. Meanwhile, Grey and Liz’s romance continues, and Dex celebrates a tense Friendsgiving at Bad Alibi.

Dex is confronted with unresolved feelings from her past when she is hired by Sue Lynn to investigate a case with the widow of Dex’s former flame. Meanwhile, Dex and Grey’s friendship is put to the test by his new romance with Liz.
Episode 9
Dex goes undercover as a high school substitute teacher after an old classmate of hers enlists her help to find out who planted drugs on her daughter. Meanwhile, Dex and Liz’s relationship gets too close for comfort.
Episode 10 – Winter Premiere
Dex is hired by a famous TV judge to help find his prodigal brother but soon finds that she is not the only one looking for him. Elsewhere, after a carjacking under his watch, Hoffman enlists Grey’s help in tracking down the carjackers. Back at home, Dex isn’t prepared for Ansel’s unexpected news.
Episode 11
With Sue Lynn’s help, Dex works to find a fellow veteran’s birth parents after he discovers that he’s adopted. Meanwhile, Ansel creates a birthday bucket list for turning twenty-one and enlists Grey’s help to complete each item. Elsewhere, Grey continues to work with Hoffman and goes undercover to infiltrate a car ring operation.
Episode 12
Dex becomes fast friends with a new client, the owner of a male strip club who has been mysteriously losing money, but Dex soon learns not everything is as it seems. Elsewhere, Grey continues to help Hoffman and his new partner on the car-jacking case while going deeper undercover.
