Jenna and her mother are finally ready to start a new life. And what better way to forget the past and begin anew in a completely new location without any ties to old memories.
They relocate to a new town with a nice sunny beach hoping the sunshine will enliven their lives too. Jenna is eager to make new friends and decides to join the college soccer team to make a connection with the girls. The game also ensures that she gets a scholarship and lessens the financial burden.
But then suddenly, Jenna finds herself in the middle of a controversy and is accused of murder. She tells everyone she has nothing to do with it and is being framed for murder. As she tries to understand what could lead to this in a town where nobody knows her, she realizes that it could be related to the death of one of the players.
Jenna suspects that there was a cover up connected to the death and she is now sure, framing her was part of the killers plan. Jenna must now find who the killer was before they get to her and she becomes the next victim.
