Strange Angel TV Show on CBS All Access is kind of biographical that takes viewers inside Jack Parsons life and shows the other side of the man who played a critical role on founding the bedrock of American space program.

Strange Angel TV Show follows the eccentric and astonishing life of Jack Parsons. A brilliant and ambitious blue-collar worker of 1930s Los Angeles, started as a janitor at a chemical factory but had fantastical dreams that led him to birth the unknown discipline of American rocketry.
Along the way, he fell into a mysterious world that included sex magick rituals at night, ultimately becoming a disciple of occultist Aleister Crowley. Parsons used Crowley’s teachings of self-actualization to support his unimaginable and unprecedented endeavor to the stars.
Strange Angel TV Show Review
Strange Angel is full of itrigue and excitement. The series drawns you in immediately as we see a young and enthusiastic Parsons working with his educated partner to bring his dream of placing man in space true. The retro setting gives the whole thing a dreamy feel and is a treat to watch. The eccentric neighbor and weird rituals are kind of a distraction, but seem to add to Parson’s character and his drive to dream and achieve the impossible.
Although a kind of biographical, the series has enough commercial appeal to pull you back and get invested in parson’s quest to build a rocket that could fly beyond the ionosphere.
