Presley’s parents are lovable and irritating at the same time, as they try to fix her up the minute she gets home. I enjoyed reading the various interactions between people who have known each other for a long time. Many of you will find it nostalgic, especially those who moved away from home after high school. There is the warm and cozy feel of old friends meeting after several years, swapping life stories. And in the background is the murder mystery. Romance is brewing between more than one couple.
There’s a lot of fashion stuff thrown in and fancy brand names dropped about. Why was the Senator troubled the day Presley interviewed him. Does the Senator’s wife have a secret? Stilettos and Scoundrels is an entertaining mystery that you can have fun reading. And have your favorite munchies ready because you will crave them as you get deeper into this fast paced thriller.
