Family businesses are tricky for everyone. For the next generation of the family it can be the stone around their neck if it is not the thing that they want to do, or worse are incapable of taking the business to the next level. For the smart and intelligent employees who can, nepotism always comes in the way and ultimately takes the whole ship down. Stath Lets Flats TV series on Channel 4 is one such story of London Greeks and presents this unique situation in a humorous way.

Stath Lets Flats TV Series Plot
Stath Lets Flats TV Series follows Stath at Michel and Eagle Lets, a dodgy London lettings agency run by Stath’s father, Solaki. It’s a real family affair, as equally inept Sophie, Stath’s sister, is also employed there on continual work experience.
Sophie dreams of being a professional dancer, but holds a candle for the family’s favourite employee, nervous negotiator Al. While Stath struggles not to be outshone by Michael & Eagle’s top agent, ruthlessly ambitious Carole, the company struggles against the threat of ‘Smethwicks’ – the slick, high-end estate agents next door.
Stath has big ambitions to take over the family business one day, but is hampered by his general ability and overall personality. In modern, overcrowded London, the business of finding tenants to rent flats should be pretty easy, but Stath makes it a struggle.

Episode 1
Chaotic letting agent Stath needs to impress his dad (and boss) Vasos and let some flats, after losing his patience and pushing a customer. However, he struggles to pick up the phone as fast as the other agents to arrange viewings. In an act of desperation he steals a viewing from arch rival Carole but things don’t go to plan. Meanwhile, Stath’s sister Sophie is left to take Al to hospital after a nasty accident in the office.
Episode 2
Stath is still struggling to let any flats, so he is delighted when his dad gives him a garden flat to let in a desirable area. Thinking it will sell itself, Stath only books one viewing.
Episode 3
After Stath accidentally burns down a property, he falls out with his exasperated dad. He manages to land himself a job at the slick agency next door, Smethwicks. It’s a chance for Stath to prove himself outside the family business – but he struggles to fit in with their ‘work hard, play hard’ culture.
