Someone Borrowed movie on Netflix is a Romance Comedy about a young man trying to fulfill his mother’s dying wish.
What is the Movie About?
The movie follows Luiz, a 30 year old man and a confirmed bachelor. He believes that all the marriages are a sham and there is no real love between the couples. Luiz has never been in a serious relationship and does not intend to get into one now.
But when his mother begins to emotionally black mail him and puts his marriage forth as her dying wish, Luiz has nowhere to hide. It also becomes the condition for him to inherit any part of the family wealth.
To hoodwink his mother and family and fulfill her wish and conditions of her will, Luiz hires a fake wife. But as her mother’s life in nowhere near death, the facade begins to become a reality. Will Luiz finally see what a deep romantic connection can be and that love trumps any resistance you can put forth?
