Snowfall Reviews

Snowfall wins hands down when it comes to transporting you to the 80s and interests you in Franklin’s story. However, most critics find that the multiple story lines unnecessarily complicate the show and fragment the focus.

“Like a greedy drug dealer, they cut their pure product with too much filler… and we’re ready to buy elsewhere.” ~ Dave Nemetz, TVLine

“By the time the ragged threads start coming together, Snowfall may have left you feeling less like you’ve been on a bender and more likely bored, which is a real shame.” ~ Dominic Patten, Deadline

“The performances here are all good — kudos to Scott and Michael Hyatt, who plays Frankie’s mother, Cissy — but the first two hours of “Snowfall” lack the dramatic import of a series this ambitious.” ~ Michael Starr, New York Post
