Sometimes solutions to our problems lie in our past. However, it is not until you revisit the past that the solutions become apparent.

Sister Swap follows Jennifer as her visit to her hometown opens up new possibilities where she expected the least.
Jennifer is a single mother to a teenage son and runs a restaurant in Salt Lake City. The restaurant is her last connection to her husband and she is very much devoted to it. When her sister Meg comes for Christmas, Jennifer is thrilled.
Meg offers Jennifer to look at the restaurant during Christmas and encourages her to visit home with her son Simon. Jennifer and Simon return home to Hazelwood for the holiday, where they become wistful for one more Christmas at The Madison – the local movie theater owned by their Uncle Dave.
But they soon realize that the theater needs many repairs and is looking at an eminent shut down.
With help from Eric, Jennifer’s former high school debate team rival, and the community, they just might pull off one last encore. As she and Eric work together, Jennifer is reminded that new possibilities are both where you least expect them and exactly where you left them.
