In another attack on English Language, Zee TV‘s Sethji serial joins the ranks of Half Girlfriend and Hindi Medium to keep the Bharat alive in India. However, the new Hindi TV Serial on Zee TV does ask its audiences to maintain a balanced approach and combine the best of both worlds.
Sethji serial will be aired from 17th April 2017 at 7.00 Pm and will compete with other serials like Moh Moh Ke Dhaage that builds on a similar Rural-Urban divide. The new Zee TV serial also marks the comeback of Gurdeep Kohli who will be seen on the small screen after a long break

Sethji Serial Story
Sethji serial stroy is about Sethji or Ahilya Devi the matriarch of the Devsu village. Sethji is tough and keeps things in order in the village that bends to her will. But her feminine concern and demeanor also wins people’s hearts. Devsu is a rural area that lacks basic infrastructure. People living here do not understand the digital world and do not have ATMs or a mobile phones.
Baji, Ahilya’s son studies in the city and his friend Pragati visits the village with certain misconceptions. But she soon falls in love with the people and the place and also falls in love with Baji.
But like all serials, there has to be a villain. This part id fulfilled by Devi who wants revenge because Sethji has thrown her husband out of the house. Sethji has another nemesis in Naagesh the village head of a neighboring area. He wants to acquire Devsu land and exploit its resource rich land for his commercial benefits.
Sethji serial shows how a remote village without modern-day fixings can still flourish on its own and can give people a fulfilling life.
