The Secret Garden Plot
‘The Secret Garden’ movie follows Mary as she discovers a magical garden at her uncle’s rundown mansion in Yorkshire, England.
Mary loses her parents in India to an epidemic and returns to England to live with her uncle in the dark cold weather of York.
Grumpy and temperamental, Mary is reluctant to accept her new reality and is troubled by her recent loss. One day exploring the rundown house when her uncle is away, Mary accidentally discover a garden with magical powers.
As days pass she realizes that her uncle too has suffered great loss and is the reason for the dilapidated condition of the mansion. Mary promises herself to help him and his paraplegic son who refuses to get out of the room.
On a mission to restore the mansion to its former glory days and help his son Eden, Mary goes on a mission to find the answers in the magical garden.
The Secret Garden Cast
Jack Thorne adapts the original story based on the book of the same name by Frances Hodgson Burnett. Marc Munden directs the Fantasy Adventure movie that premieres on August 7 2020.
