In the first season we met Darius Tanz as the brilliant, millionaire Tech entrepreneur who found out that the world is coming to an end because of an asteroid on a collision course with earth. However, the government is not willing to make the information public and is ready to kill to keep this information secret from people and other countries so that they can control things in the aftermath. Salvation Season 2 premieres on CBS this week with the devastating news now public.

Salvation Season 2 Plot
In the first season we were at a point with Earth getting just six months to prepare for a collision that will kill almost everyone on Earth and plunge it into darkness for decades. We had Darius Tanz working with the government their differences to stop the collision. But in spite his best efforts, they did not see eye to eye as he uncovered a deeper conspiracy that replaced the elected President thwarted Darius’ plan to build an ark.
Salvation Season 2 takes us on a journey where the information about imminent collision and death is now public. With the information communicated to the masses, the question is will this final reality bring out the best in people or will it plunge then into chaos with animal instincts taking over what we have built over centuries.
