Summer is the time for thriller series and action-packed dramas. In what could be called a quintessential Summer series, Salvation on CBS brings you a suspense thriller that has it all. Action, Suspense, and a bit of science fiction, the Santiago Cabrera starrer Salvation TV Show takes you on a tense, apocalyptic ride starting in July. The plot line does instantly remind you of movies like Deep Impact. But since SyFy has kind of shied away from making disaster moves, this could turn out to be a gripping series this year.
Salvation Cast
Based on the Story written by Matt Wheeler and developed by Liz Kruger, the new Drama will join Zoo Season 3 in the CBS Summer lineup. The new series will be available online exclusively on Amazon Prime and Amazon Video four days after the initial broadcast of the episodes.

Salvation Plot
Salvation revolves around Liam Cole (Charlie Rowe) and Darius Tanz (Santiago Cabrera). An MIT graduate, Liam comes across a startling discovery during his research. He along with Darius, a tech superstar, realize that an asteroid is about to impact Earth. Darius is a visionary maverick whose sole love is his projects. And now saving Earth will be his most audacious project ever.
Together they approach a low-level Pentagon official, Grace Barrows (Jennifer FInnigan) with the news that the impact is imminent and just six months away. However, this news does not have the effect that the two would hope to see. Did the Pentagon already know about this? If so, why are the people not aware of this danger.

Episode 1 – 12th July
In the Pilot episode of Salvation, MIT grad student Liam Cole (Charlie Rowe) discovers an asteroid is set to collide with Earth in 186 days. He joins forces with tech billionaire Darius Tanz (Santiago Cabrera) and the U.S. government to try and stop it – and together they stumble onto the greatest conspiracy never told.
Episode 2 – 19th July
Darius and Liam work to invent a theoretically impossible piece of technology to divert the asteroid, and Grace risks everything to help Darius. Also, Liam heads home to Boston to track down critical research, but finds something shocking instead.
Episode 3 – 26th July
It’s a race against time as Darius must accelerate his plan to stop the asteroid before the Pentagon shuts him down. Also, Grace has to make difficult decisions that could have life or death consequences for millions of people, and Liam and Jillian reunite under surprising circumstances.
