Romil and Jugal is a love story, an adaptation of Romeo and Juliet, where there is no dearth of enemies. After giving us some new stories like The Test Case and Dev DD, ALT Balaji has once again come out with a story that main stream media wouldn’t have accepted. In a country that refuses to accept that gays are a part of their life whether they accept it or not, web content seems to be the only way to reach interested audiences.
Romil and Jugal Cast
Like many other stories that the Cesnsor Board clamped down on, Romil and Jugal too was supposed to be a movie. But with democratization of content, it is easier to tell stories that can ‘malign’ our holy social fabric and so we can hope to see some new and different content.
