What is the Movie About?
Milan, April 1945. The city is in ruins. We are at the end of the Second World War. In the chaos of war, Isola has become the king of the black market, guided by a single moral law: survival.
Yvonne is Borsalino’s clandestine girlfriend, singer of Cabiria, the only nightclub left open in the city. Even he, a fascist hierarch, ruthless torturer, is madly in love with Yvonne and willing to do anything to get her.
Then Isola and his people intercept an encrypted communication. They discover that Mussolini has hidden his huge treasure trove right in Milan. Stashed in the “Black Zone” he os waiting to flee to Switzerland, escaping capture and the gallows.
They cannot miss the chance of a lifetime – the most ambitious heist in history – and therefore decide to carry out a crazy enterprise: rob the Duce.
