Ride or Die movie follows two women Rei and Nanae as they are plunged into an aimless quest to escape violence and abuse.
Rei is a woman born into wealth with nothing wanting. She has everything she ever needed and lives a life of luxury. One day she comes into contact with the girl she once loved, after many years. Time has passed, but her feelings for Nanae haven’t changed.
Rei drops everything to go see her, and the two are reunited for the first time in a decade. But Rei’s happiness is short-lived as she sees Nanae covered in bruises inflicted on her by her husband.
Nanae soon narrates her difficult situation and how her abusive husband beats her up. Rei, naturally, suggests that she should get rid of her husband. But Nanae asks Rei to kill her husband. Always ready to help, Rei doesn’t think twice and agrees to do it.
What is the Cast of Ride or Die Netflix Movie?
Kiko Mizuhara plays Rei with Honami Sato as Nanae. The movie is based on the comic series Gunjo by Ching Nakamura and was shot through the pandemic.
