Reverie TV Series Plot
Mara Kint was a leading hostage negotiator, until a personal tragedy struck. Trying to adjusting to the new reality and come to terms with her loss, Mara decides to let go of her career as a hostage negotiator and takes up the job at a university teaching human behavior.
But she also believes in making use of her talents and skill the best she can for others. So when her former boss, Charlie Ventana, contacts her for an assignment to save people who seem to be lost in a game, she accepts the challenge.
A new immersive reality application seems to have invaded the consumer space. Ordinary people have lost themselves in a highly advanced immersive virtual-reality program in which you can live out your wildest dreams. In her new job, Mara hopes to save others, but also possible save herself and forget the dark event in her past.

Reverie TV Series Review
Reverie brings a fresh new concept for sc-fi fans as we are introduced to a new world of what nano tech can do. With a quick history of our protagonist and intro to the tech, we are quickly immersed into the first mystery. Although new, the show format follows the stock procedural format and viewers are assured of a new mystery each week with an overarcing plot about the protagonist Mara Kint.
The pace and performances of the series ensure that you are not bored. Some threads like involvement of government agencies in the development and Mara’s own dreams interweaving with those of the host’s will keep you hooked. Overall, the series seems inviting and will make to return for at leat another few episodes at this time.
