To accomplish the daunting task of renovating the lakeside resort, Scott and Bryan enlist four professional build/design teams, each bringing their unique style and expertise to the competition.
The teams include husband and wife duo Troy and Rotem from Toronto, Ontario; entrepreneurs Arnold and April from Chicago, Illinois; business partners Sean and Jena from Toronto, Ontario; and partners in life and work, Kyle and Savannah from Phoenix, Arizona.
With a tight budget of $100,000 and a strict timeline of seven weeks, these teams will face off to transform four identical cabins into luxurious waterfront escapes.
The Challenges
Renovation Resort Showdown features a variety of renovation challenges that will put the teams’ skills and creativity to the test. The competition kicks off with the transformation of primary bedrooms, main floor bathrooms, and front entryways, where the teams must impress Scott and Bryan with their high-end designs.
