Redemption in Cherry Springs follows Melanie as she gets embroiled in solving a puzzle surrounding the disappearance of her childhood friend.
Melanie is an investigative journalist in Boston and is very good at her job. But when there is a big fall out after braking an important story, she decides to take some time off and returns to her home town.
Her uncle Joe welcomes her with open arms and she is the only remaining family for him after passing of Melanie’s mother. But her hopes of quiet time are dashed when her childhood friend Tony suddenly goes missing. Unable to accept the truth, Malanie decided to put her investigative skills to use and find out what happened to Tony.
However, her meddling does not sit well with Jake Collins, the new detective in the town who is assigned to the case. The initial friction subsides when Jake is forced to accept that Melanie’s information is useful in the investigation.
The two put aside their differences and work together to unravel the mystery on the path that is filled with many twists and turns.
