Set in Japan after the Second World War, The Outsider movie on Netflix follows an American soldier who must do everything he can to survive in the Japanese jail.

The Outsider Movie Plot
Post WWII Japan is a dangerous place for any American. Inside the jail or outside, the chances of being hunted are high than getting helped. But then crime syndicates and gangs have no affiliations other than for money and power.
Lodged in jail the soldier finds an ally in his cellmate and a Yakuza. He convinces him that his skills as a G.I can be of advantage to the gang. Joining hands with the deadly gangster, he manages to break out of jail with the Yakuza.
But the world of crime and Yakuza outside is as dangerous as the jail and he must fight his way through it to repay his debt and prove his loyalty to the gang.
