One Summer follows Jack and his children as he tries to rebuild their life after a devastating tragedy and emotional turmoil.
Life has been hard for Jack and family after his prolonged sickness drained them emotionally. But the real surprise comes when his healthy wife suddenly passes away and leaves him with two teens to care.
As Jack slowly recovers his health, he deices to move to his wife’s childhood hometown, hoping it would keep them connected and help them heal the sudden loss.
There, jack begins to engage with the local community and takes up a project to restore the local lighthouse that his wife so loved. His daughter Mikki is not happy with the move but connects with the son of the cafe owner Jenna while working there.
As time passes Jack begins to have visions of his wife while working at the lighthouse who insists he build a new life for himself and his family.
Will Jenna be the glue that help him rebuild his family and help him accept the past and find a new place in this world without his wife?
