Nine Perfect Strangers follows a group of nine people who join a Health resort and spa to overcome the problems in their lives as promised by the resort.
The series takes place at a boutique health-and-wellness resort that promises healing and transformation as nine stressed city dwellers try to get on a path to a better way of living.
Watching over them during this 10-day retreat is the resort’s director, Masha, a woman on a mission to reinvigorate their tired minds and bodies.
Yao is a bright-eyed man-kid with a hipster vibe and Masha’s right hand man. After a life and death encounter with Masha, he’s deeply committed to Masha’s self-improvement techniques and teachings and is in entirely in her thrall.
However, these nine “perfect” strangers have no idea what is about to hit them.
