A New Year’s Resolution Movie Plot
A New Year’s Resolution movie follows Kelly as her New year’s resolution leads her to the one thing she never thought could happen.
After missing parties and showing up late due to work, local Milwaukee morning show producer Kelly Leone makes a New Year’s resolution that she cannot say no to any social invitation for a full month.
At the next table over, bank marketing executive Tom Malone and his friends talk resolutions as well. The two tables join in conversation and Tom and Kelly flirt.
Her morning show team talk her into becoming a month-long ongoing segment centered around her resolution. Next, Kelly must do the Blizzard 5K and Obstacle Course with Tom representing the bank, and she wins. At a speed dating event, Tom is there too, and they make a date to attend a hockey game together.
A potentially negative news story about Tom’s bank comes up, the thought of which makes Kelly uncomfortable, especially when her team suggests she asks Tom to be a whistleblower. The morning after her birthday party, Kelly learns that Tom betrayed her trust and gave the bank a heads-up about the allegations.
