Tiger Shroff has a decent fan base. And after trying his hand at action movies, he now seems set to exploit his dancing prowess to make way into the hearts of Bollywood audiences. Tiger seems to have all the elements of an action hero, however, his movies could not create a big impact so far. he also has a stiff competition from Vidyut Jamwal who has given audiences better action movies. In Munna Michael Tiger plays a character that will need both dance and action to make the movie interesting for the viewers. Munna Michael releases in theaters on 21 July and will compete with Lipstick Under My Burkha.

Director Sabbir Khan returns with Tiger after Heropanti and Baaghi, which didn’t do too well at the Box Office. This one however, promises to have an interesting story and take on the numerous reality TV shows.

Munna Michael Story
Munna Michael movie story revolves around Munna, of course. Munna is from Teen Batti and crazy about Michel Jackson. He has grown up looking up to this dance icon and knows all his patent moves by heart. Munna loves to dance and earns his living with street dance. His dream – to become a famous and best dancer in the country.
One day Munna finds out about a reality TV Dance competition ‘Dancing Star’ and decides to take part in the show. He soon races up the popularity charts and becomes the audience favorite. However, there is a problem. As it attracts his fans, his dancing prowess also attracts a local don who wants to be a proficient dancer. He takes up the challenge to train this amateur and make him one of the best. The movie then seems to take a predictable turn as both Munna and the goon fall in love with Dolly (Nidhi Agerwal).
Munna Michael Review
Munna Michael takes a sluggish start and some of the scenes seems contrived early on in the movies. However it maintains a good pace and you go with the flow of the story.
As the movie alternates between dance and action sequences, the story develops Nawazuddin convinces Munna to teach him how to dance so that he can win over his lady love – a dancer at a star hotel in Delhi.
The movie is a complete Bollywood Masala package with song, dance, action and a bit of drama. However to call it a Dance movie would be a shame. For all the noise about tribute to MJ, this one is a complete failure. At no point does it put Dancing at the crux of the story. The climax of the movie is supposed to be this big win for Munna’s dance group at the all important competition. But the competition is only in the background as the film stays focused on the the main characters and their romance. This lack of focus on the dance competition, makes the final win meaningless and the on-stage drama gets bigger than the occasion.
So if you are going for Step Up like of Dance-centric movie, this is not the right one. Munna Michael is just another romance that masquerades as Dance movie.
