Missing and Alone follows Shannon as she realizes that her teenage daughter is playing a dangerous game and is under mortal threat.
Shannon and Chloe are recuperating from their grief after Shannon’s Husband’s death. It has been a year and life is still not entirely normal. As the death anniversary approaches Chloe tells Shannon she would be stating with her friend McKenzie for the weekend. Shannon thinks this is just Chloe’s way of handling the grief.
However, when McKenzie’s father meets Shannon the next day he is not sure what’s happening. Shannon grows suspicious and digs a bit further. She soon learns that Chloe is playing the dangerous Game of 72, which needs her to survive in the woods for 72 hours alone.
She smells danger and is convinced McKenzie and some other girls may have something sinister in mind. With no one to depend on, she decides to take matters into her own hands to find Chloe before it’s too late.
