Lucknow Central Review
The strong cast assures that the performances won’t be lacking in this new story. The uniqueness of the topic and story should draw audiences to the theaters this wee. Whether the whole package succeeds or fails remains to be seen.
The early reviews are in and the movie is everything you would expect from a Farhan Akhtar movie. Here’s what critics have to say,
“Lucknow Central sucks is into its human drama. It gives a flying hoot about commercial trappings, keeps the frames stark, bare and daunting. No concession is made to glamorous props.” ~ Business Standard
“A sloppy climax ends this sweet experience on a bitter note, turning out to be that unpalatable dessert that ruins a delectable experience. Yet, the plusses in Lucknow Central outnumber the weaknesses. It surely deserves a dekho.” ~ Sonil Dedhia, Mid-Day
MovieRecipe Review
Lucknow Central is a Drama and touches on various aspects of the justice system. We get to see how different motivations of people involved in the whole process can influence the final outcome, with the innocent having little control of things. But the movie also highlights that even in the darkest times, we should not lose sight of our dreams, which can become a reality in the most unlikely places.
For a Drama, the movie proceeds at a brisk pace and you don’t get an opportunity to think of anything else. The screenplay flows effortlessly and the dialogues are natural and delivered without unnecessary embellishments.
The movie successfully connects the audience to the characters and their emotions, which makes this non-romantic Bollywood Drama a must watch.
