Lost in Space 2018 Plot
Lost in Space 2018 TV Show follows the Robinson family as they embark on a space exploration mission. While the earlier version focused equally on family drama and had a fun aspect, that seems to be missing in the remake.
The third season of the earlier version had shown the Robinsons visit new planets in a pod and that is where the series seems to take off.
We begin the series with the family in peril as they try to recover from a crash landing on an alien planet. Here we see the family cut off from the rest of the colony. Surviving as a family and reconnecting with others then becomes the overarching plot for the new series.

The new SciFi-Fantasy version is more of an Action-Adventure series that promises to keep you engaged with its visuals and action sequences. Here’s what the critics are saying about the new verison,
Netflix has delivered a largely entertaining series which intermittently fires all cylinders. However, with the mix, the series seems to have no particular audience age-group in mind, says Chris Cabin of Collider.
” Lost In Space heads in the opposite direction and delivers a fun, family friendly sci-fi adventure that might be one of the strongest first seasons of a big-budget series Netflix has yet to deliver. ” ~ Kevin Yeoman, ScreenRant
“Netflix’s Lost in Space is half family-reconciliation melodrama and half futuristic survivalist fantasy” ~ Daniel Fienberg, The Hollywood Reporter
