You Light Up My Christmas movie follows Emma as she returns home to sever her last connections but ends up living it there.
Emma Simmons is a successful realtor in the city and has been away from her home for many years. Now, she has come to a decision that she will go back and sell off her family home and end all ties to the town.
However, when she gets there, old memories begins to stir. She meets her best friend Lily and her ex Ben. As Ben begins to help her stage her home, they both realize that they still have feeling for each other and they like having those feelings.
As they try to stay away, fate has something else planned for them. Eill Emma finally cut all her ties? Or will her true love for Ben take her life on a new journey she never expected.
