After super successes of Katyar Kaljat Ghusli and a somewhat ordinary 2016, Subodh Bhave comes back in a intense performance in the new Marathi movie Karar. Karar means an agreement, which is very different than the Hindi meaning of the word. In Hindi the word means peace of mind or tranquility. This movie talks about both. The music for the movie is composed by Vijay Gawande and Sonu Kakkar will be seen singing a melodious Marathi song for the first time, in the movie.

Karar Movie Story
Life is full of surprises and no matter how much you plan, it is impossible to plan for every little thing. Sunil is one such guy. He likes to plan everything to the smallest step. The movie begins with a short romance between the lead character as they fall in love an get married. It is Sunil’s insistence on following a specific timeline, however, creates friction between the lead pair. Not willing to be a father in the first five years of marriage, Sunil asks his wife to terminate pregnancy multiple times, which leads to serious complications and makes it impossible for to have a child later.
Post the five year period, Sunil gets eager to be a father, and after discussions with his wife and doctor, decides to go for a surrogate mother. He enlists his widowed maid (Redkar) who agrees to the arrangement for the money. But for a person who does not like surprises, they never stop coming Sunil’s way.
The movie also highlights the various problems and complications that an arise from surrogacy and how not all things can be covered in an agreement (Karaar). This forms the crux of the story.
