JJ+E follows John John and Elizabeth as their paths cross, sparks fly, and then social and mental barriers make this love story impossible.
The series is set in Stockholm as we meet our protagonists Elizabeth and John-John. The have grown up in the same city. But their lives have been diametrically opposite.
While Elizabeth has grown up in the affluent side of the town, JJ has lived all his life on the opposite side of the tracks. It was always unlikely that their paths would ever cross each other. But with a twist of a fate, JJ ends up at the same school as Elizabeth and the unthinkable happens.
