Jim Carrey has given us some wonderful performances from the action-comedy Mask to serious dramas like The Truman Show. The versatile actor has also played villainous roles like the one in Batman Forever. I have always enjoyed Jim Carrey movies and never miss a chance to watch them again whenever aired on television. Here is my list of some Jim Carrey movies that I am sure you will enjoy no matter how many time you have seen them before.

The Mask

Among the top ten moneymakers in 1994, The Mask is an action-comedy flick that you definitely must watch once. But I can assure you that you will watch the movie every time it plays on TV and even dive into when on On Demand lineup.

Jim Carrey’s good luck continued into 1995 as he came up with another hit in Ace Ventura 2, a sequel to the original Ace Ventura: Pet detective movie. Whacky noises and faces, which had become a trademark for Jim Carrey’s performances since The Mask, were also very much visible in this movie.

Jim Carrey was nominated for the Best Performace by Actor at the Golden Globe Awards for this movie in 1997. Fletcher Reed loves his family. But he is chronic liar and fails to keep promises made to his son and wife, often justified by false excuses. This lying ability is also the cornerstone of his success in the courtroom.

But there is something that is not right and this nagging feeling is upsetting Truman for some time now. Then, a light falls from the sky and Truman Burbank begins to realize that there is something seriously wrong with his life.

Charlie is a charming, shy, and a simple veteran police officer in Rhode Island. His simple nature, however, attracts a lot of abuse from everyone he comes across. But when his wife runs away with a dwarf limousine driver and leaves behind bi-racial triplets from the driver, charlie loses his balance. Although he takes care of the triplets, who love him, Charlie soon develops a split personality. Hank, Charlie’s alter ego is as violent and resourceful as Charlie is a simpleton.
