‘Instapsycho movie’ follows Maddie as her dream of gaining back popularity at her school backfires and puts her in the eye of the storm.
High school is perhaps the mirror image of the professional world today. Get popular, get noticed or be forgotten and live an inconsequential life. Well, high school can be much more brutal.
Maddie and her mother Gwer have always been the best friends. And since her parents’ divorce the two have only gotten closer. When Maddie returns to her school, she is delighted to be back with her friends and wants to be the coolest of the lot.
Social media has given that opportunity and posting quirky selfies have made them an instant celebrity. But not all are happy with their riding popularity.
When one of their social media stunts goes wrong, Maddie is blamed and the consequences are deadly. But Gwen knows she’s innocent. She’s determined to prove it and to protect her daughter from the real killer.
