It has been some time that we have seen a good drama from TNT and we know they do it the best. In I am the Night series, we get to explore the insecurities that people who do not know where they come from face. No matter how many time we are told that circumstances are responsible for who we are, not knowing your lineage can be very disquieting and frustrating.

I am the Night Series Plot
I Am the Night series tells the gripping story of Fauna Hodel, a teenage girl who is given away at birth, and grows up outside of Reno, Nevada.
Fauna lives more-or-less comfortably with the mysteries of her origin, until one day she makes a discovery that leads her to question everything. As Fauna begins to investigate the secrets of her past, she meets a ruined reporter, haunted by the case that undid him.
Together they follow a sinister trail that swirls ever closer to an infamous Los Angeles gynecologist, Dr. George Hodel, a man involved in some of Hollywood’s darkest debauchery, and possibly, its most infamous unsolved crime.

I am the Night is dark. There’s is no doubt if you don’t like psychological thrillers, this one is not for you. Secrets, violence, and twisted minds threaten our young prtagonist Fauna at every step as she begins her journey to find about her birth parents. The series keeps you hooked with every episode and the pace and tone complements the genre. The series is definitely a must-watch for psychological thriller fans.

Episode 1
Fauna Hodel, a naïve young girl growing up outside of Reno, Nevada, embarks on a desperate quest to discover who she is. In Los Angeles, Jay Singletary, a former Marine turned hack reporter covers a gruesome murder.
Episode 2
Newly arrived in Los Angeles, Fauna attempts to track down her family, including her mysterious grandfather, George Hodel. Jay continues his pursuit of the Bloody Romeo, but he can’t let go of the story that ruined his career years ago—a story that involved George Hodel.
Episode 3
A visit from Billis (Yul Vazquez) and the LAPD leaves Jay wondering how close he’s getting to the truth. Fauna must reconcile Corinna’s revelations with the suspicion that Corinna is hiding Fauna’s mother, Tamar.

A phone call in the middle of the night from Corinna has Jay believing that there are cracks appearing in the Hodel case. Jay stews in a cell that overflows with rioters, his options diminishing as the hours pass, until he hatches a desperate plan.
